The SSD1815EVK is a evaluation kit (EVK) of the SSD1815Z works with a LCD panel. The size of the display is 96x64 dots and 1seperated icon row. Figure 1 shows the outlook of top view of the EVK.

The EVK is composed of essential external components of SSD1815Z.There is one contrast control variable resistor (VR1) and one selection jumper (J1) indicated in the figure, for controlling the display contrast of the LCD panel.

There is a header (U3) for connecting to external control, eg. from MCU I/O ports. The pin assignment of this header is given in the EVK Header/Connector section of this document.
