Description:
CN3085 is a charger IC for single to four cell Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) batteries. The device contains an on-chip power MOSFET and eliminates the need for the external sense resistor and blocking diode. CN3085 requires few external components, and is suitable for portable applications. Thermal feedback regulates the charge current to limit the die temperature during high power operation or high ambient temperature.
